My 3 daughters have been loving their palikoas! When we received the Axol (in Hot Pink!) they came up with a schedule to all be able to try it! It's now my oldest girls favorite! She loves that you can still do the different modes. Mode 2 is her favorite. The smaller size footprint is easier for her to maneuver with gloves! Another win from Glacier Black!
This is the descender I use every time I canyoneer and I own most of them. I recently converted one my friends from using the SQWERL on long rappels to using the Pivot Axol and they like it better. So many options for friction and rigging. I love that the hooked arms allow me to move my brake hand out to brace or help downclimb while on soft starts (with sand traps) without compromising friction.
