8.5mm Cascade Trident Super-Static Rope. The sheath is constructed of a tested combination of three fibers, Vectran, UHMPE, and Polyester, These three yarns mixed together create a rope that will resist abrasion and sharp edges. The core is now made of UHMPE and Polypropylene. The Trident is a high performance, specifically engineered rope that will take you places.

I have been using this rope on a daily basis for work for the last three summers it doesn’t even have a scratch on it and is now in what I would imagine to be its golden era! This thing is a trooper and a very smooth rap as well
I've used this rope in 30 canyons (20 Sandstone / 10 Flowing) and have been impressed with its durability and performance. After hundreds of rappels, the rope is supple and feels quicker than its diameter (more like bluewater & sterling, less like imlay). For the first dozen rappels, I needed more friction than expected on my rappel device and recommend using a 7mm VT prussik instead of 8mm. In the future, I'll soak and dry a few times before use to reduce sheath slippage. Great rope!
What a great rope. I use the Trident as my daily driver, whether that be training or in the canyons. Where is really excels is in flowing water. Every time I've used the trident in waterfalls, I'm very happy with my friction on the ride down. Additionally it feels like an 8mm when I'm rappelling on it and is incredibly durable. I would recommend this rope to everyone.
From the little I've used this rope, it has been amazing. My friend, however, complains that she wants a new rope that is lighter, but this rope is too durable and won't die. She purposely abuses it and uses it in harsh canyons and can't get it to wear enough to replace it. She has taken it through hundreds of canyons. Take that for what it's worth.
We have been using the Trident V1 and V2 for guiding and this rope is brilliant.
Its supple and handles well and is also very durable. We have yet to coreshot or even fuzz out our ropes.
